The Aiken facility in South Carolina, USA was acquired from GSK. It has been operating for 40 years and offers secondary manufacturing and integrated packaging. It has manufactured a broad range of GSK’s products throughout that time. Currently manufacturing 13 products and over 125 SKUs, the Aiken site enables Avara to offer valuable additional solid dose manufacturing capacity at a time when it is in very high demand in North America. Aiken has a successful audit history with agencies including the FDA, EMA, GCC and ANVISA.
